Single-Use Guidewire for ERCP

VisiGlide, designed in cooperation with Terumo, provides the equivalent support of a regular 0.035-inch guidewire with a 0.025-inch diameter. Finally, excellent cannulation performance is now combined with smooth device exchange potentially reducing the number of guidewires needed in a procedure.

Endoscopic markings on both the VisiGlide and VisiGlide 2 assist seeing movement of the guidewire, while advanced fluoroscopic visibility ensures that the wires are fully visible

in virtually any situation and can aid with stricture and stent measurement.

VisiGlide has been designed to provide the optimal combination of stiffness and flexibility, enabling difficult strictures to be efficiently passed and effective access maintained.

VisiGlide: Superb Cannulation Performance

Primary cannulation success was significantly higher (up to 94%) compared with a fully hydrophilic and nitinol guidewire combination*. VisiGlide could replace using a combination of flexible and stable guidewires and increase the success rate of cannulation while decreasing the procedure time.

VisiGlide 2: Selective Insertion

The shorter angled tip of VisiGlide 2 facilitates insertion into tortuous anatomy, which can prove advantageous in challenging anatomy and hilar areas.

VisiGlide 2: Enhanced Flexibility

A slightly more tapered tip on the VisiGlide 2 allows the formation of an alpha loop and, along with the Terumo hydrophilic coating, promotes navigation of constricted ducts.
